GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (GTC)

VS / LABS e-shop (www.vslabs.cc)

I. INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS

  • These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") govern the mutual rights and obligations between the seller and the buyer arising in connection with or based on a purchase agreement concluded through the e-shop on the domain www.vslabs.cc.

  • Seller: velosquad s.r.o., with registered office at Plzeňská 3352/156, 150 00 Prague 5 - Smíchov, ID No.: 21968748, registered in the Commercial Register (hereinafter referred to as "Seller").

  • The buyer is a consumer or entrepreneur who enters into a purchase agreement with the Seller (hereinafter referred to as "Buyer").

II. ORDER AND CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT

  • The presentation of products (waxes, accessories) on the website is informative, and the Seller is not obliged to conclude a purchase agreement regarding this goods.

  • The Buyer sends the order by filling out the form in the shopping cart. Before sending, they have the option to check and modify the entered data.

  • The contract is concluded at the moment of delivery of the order confirmation to the Buyer's email address.

III. PRICE AND PAYMENT TERMS

  • All prices in the e-shop are final.

  • The Seller offers the following payment methods: online payment card (Shopify Payments / Apple Pay / Google Pay) or bank transfer.

  • The goods remain the property of the Seller until the full purchase price is paid.

IV. TRANSPORT AND DELIVERY

  • The Buyer chooses the delivery method in the shopping cart (e.g., Zásilkovna / Packeta, courier service).

  • Delivery costs are indicated in the shopping cart before completing the order.

  • Upon receipt of the goods, the Buyer is obliged to check the integrity of the packaging. In case of damage, it is necessary to immediately notify the carrier and the Seller.

V. WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTRACT (RETURN OF GOODS)

  • The Buyer (consumer) has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason.

  • Withdrawal can be made using the Seller's contact email. Goods must be returned within 14 days of withdrawal.

  • Specific limitation for consumer chemicals: For hygienic and safety reasons, it is not possible to withdraw from the contract and return goods (Tungsten Armory wax pucks) if the Buyer has broken the primary protective packaging or if the wax has already been melted. The goods must be returned in their original, undisturbed condition.

  • The cost of returning the goods is borne by the Buyer.

VI. SAFETY WARNINGS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • VS / LABS products (especially solid waxes) require heating to high temperatures (typically 80–85 °C) during application.

  • The Buyer acknowledges that handling hot wax poses a risk of thermal burns and requires maximum caution, the use of appropriate equipment (e.g., a thermostatically controlled heater) and protective equipment.

  • The Seller bears no responsibility for injuries, burns, property damage or damage to bicycle components (e.g., chain destruction due to overheating) caused by improper handling, failure to follow the recommended melting procedure, or the use of unsuitable heating equipment.

  • It is strictly forbidden to melt wax on open flames or in a microwave oven.

VII. COMPLAINTS AND WARRANTY (RIGHTS FROM DEFECTIVE PERFORMANCE)

  • The Seller is responsible for ensuring that the goods are free of defects upon receipt.

  • Rights from defective performance can be claimed within 24 months of receipt (in the case of consumers).

  • The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper storage (e.g., exposure to extreme temperatures) or improper use of the product in violation of the instructions.

  • Complaints can be submitted by sending a description of the defect and photos to the contact email. The Seller will process the complaint within 30 days.

VIII. FINAL PROVISIONS

  • Relations not regulated by these terms and conditions are governed by the legal order of the Czech Republic.

  • The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz) is responsible for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes.

  • These GTC come into force and effect on the date of their publication on the e-shop.
